# I live in Waverley: how do I book a Council-subsidised Pickup?

**Here’s how it works:**

**1.** [**Create**](https://my.recyclesmart.com/login?posthog_id=019baf24-3510-7379-8e32-054a6a288f6a) **your free account if you haven’t already**

- Download our app ‘ReSmart’ or visit [resmart.co](http://resmart.co/) 

**2. Fill up to 4 shopping bags or a 120L box worth of tricky items:**

- - Soft plastics
    - Clothes & textiles (wearable & unwearable)
    - E-waste: small items that use electricity e.g. chargers, old phones, keyboard, mouse
    - Misfit items: batteries, light bulbs, vapes, blister packs

**3. Book a Council-subsidised Pickup when it suits you **

- Simply go to your account, select your Pickup size and pick a date that suits you
- Please ensure you choose a ‘Council-subsidised’ date. 

**4. Leave your items out on Pickup day for our driver to collect**

- Leave it at your doorstep or in a visible and safe location for our driver to spot
- 💡Tip: Add clear driver instructions in the app (e.g. “left side of the porch behind the plant”) to make your next Pickup seamless. You can even add a picture in three clicks.
- We take your items to one of our consolidation points where we sort and record everything collected. Then, we send it to our vetted reuse or recycling partners. Learn more [here](https://resmart.co/what-happens-to-your-items).
