At the moment, you need to pay online to use the RecycleSmart services so that we can guarantee contact-free transactions. You will not be charged until the pickup is complete.
You will need to provide your credit card details to book a Power Pickup. This is because we would rather not charge you immediately in case anything goes wrong with the pickup (and we'd then have to refund you).
This unfortunately means we need to store your card details. We store details in STRIPE, one of the most popular and secure payment processors on the planet.
If you’re worried about security, you can rest easy. Our online payment system is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 - the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
