You’re one of the lucky residents living in one of 15+ progressive councils that have partnered with RecycleSmart to subsidise our service and offer you a free recurring pickup. That means your council is footing the bill to help you recycle more easily and responsibly.
So, what’s changed?
Because the council sets a fixed budget each month for free Pickups, and more people are using the service than ever before, we’re spreading out collections to make sure as many residents as possible — including your neighbours — can access at least one free Pickup. It’s all about sharing the benefits fairly across the community.
